Coach Rusty & Coach Amy: What We Do

Coach Rusty: I help successful, driven Christian men from crummy childhoods who are addicted to pornography and other unwanted sexual behaviors achieve, "Purity Is The New Sexy"(TM) by helping them heal from the trauma and wounds that are driving them to act out.

Most addictions come from learning to self medicate a wounded heart. Many men with childhood trauma (divorce, bullying; emotional, verbal abuse and physical abuse...) also get exposed to pornography at an early age and subconsciously learn to medicate their pain with it, opening the door to a vicious addiction.

Coach Amy: I teach women how to navigate the life of a betrayed spouse, learn to set healthy boundaries, and I am also an LCDC, counseling individuals into recovery from chemical dependency.

Professionalism and Experience

From Coach Rusty: As a professionally trained and Certified Addiction Recovery Coach CARC I and Certified Abuse Recovery Coach CARC II, specializing in pornography and sexual addictions, I have the tools and understanding to help you create the life you imagine and get a renewed sense of self on the other side of addiction. I am a true survivor. I endured a childhood home riddled with abuse, addiction, abandonment and adultery. Then, I embarked upon the healing journey and found freedom.

From Coach Amy: As a wife of an addict (alcohol and pornography) I have experienced betrayal first hand and have learned how to heal from betrayal trauma while also supporting my husband. I have a Masters Degree in Christian Counseling with a focus on Substance Abuse and Addictive Disorders and am an LCDC, helping individual recovery from chemical dependency.

After I got into recovery and realized how prevalent sexual addiction is within the church, I went back to school and become a Certified Addiction Recovery Coach (CARC I) and Certified Abuse Recovery Coach (CARC II) through Addiction Recovery Counseling Services (ARCS). The program, "Heal and Help Others," helped me to continue my healing and recovery journey and gave me the opportunity to tools to coach others. I now Coach as well as lead others through the ARCS Certification Program.
